Revival Lab

The reader buys the wound, not the blurb.

Author Revival Lab

Your book isn't bad.

It's undiagnosed.

Most book promotion fails before it starts. Not because the author didn't try. Because the content was built around the book's plot — not the reader's psychology.

At ARL, every piece of promotional content is extracted from inside your book — the real wound the story touches, the exact reader it was written for, the hook that makes that reader stop scrolling and feel something.

For fiction authors — published, pre-launch, or mid-draft — who know something is wrong but cannot name it yet.

The ARL Diagnostic System

"The reader doesn't buy the book. They buy the wound it promises to touch."

From the ARL Shelf — Free

Two books, free. One for the work, one for the writer.

For the writer

You Are Not Blocked

You are not blocked. You are protected.

Why the work that matters most to you also costs the most to sit down and do — and why that isn't a discipline problem. A chapter-by-chapter look at the nervous system underneath procrastination, perfectionism, and the inner critic, and the slow, repeatable practice that actually narrows the gap between fear and the desk.

The Book's X-Ray

For every author who knew their book was good — and couldn't understand why it wasn't working.

A free, compressed preview of the diagnostic method behind everything ARL does: the Reading Contract, the Page One Betrayal, the Signal vs. Substance gap, and the cascade that turns one small fracture into a stalled launch. The full book — with all four case files — is available on Amazon.

The gap between what your book promises
and what it delivers — that is where sales die.

Every book is treated like it has never existed before. Because it hasn't. All content is pulled from inside the specific book — real quotes, real character psychology, real reader psychology. The differentiator is precision: every piece of content is built around what this specific book does to the person reading it.

Signal Audit

Cover, title, blurb, categories — what reader do they recruit?
The fracture between your signal and your substance is where most books fail before anyone opens page one.

Reader Psychology

Who is the exact reader?
What wound does this book touch?
Every hook, caption, and carousel is built from the answer — not from a genre template.

Page One Contract

What does your opening page promise?
Does the book keep it?
The reader who feels betrayed by page three doesn't leave a review — they just leave.

Content That Converts

30 days of platform-specific captions, hook video scripts, email sequences, and promotional graphics — all extracted from inside your book, not written around it.

The Fracture

"Cover signalled historical thriller. Blurb opened with family backstory. Wrong reader arrived, read the first page, and left."

The Finding

The Signal Audit identified the fracture in the first paragraph: the blurb was recruiting a literary fiction reader while the cover promised a thriller. The Wound Line was extracted and used to rewrite the blurb around what the book actually does to the reader who needs it.

What Changed

Blurb rewritten using the Wound Line from the audit.

Amazon conversions changed within two weeks of the update going live.

The fracture. The finding. What changed.

Anonymous case files from the ARL archive. No author names. No book titles.

The diagnostic, the finding, and the outcome.

From the Case Files

The Fracture

"60,000 words into the manuscript. Something was wrong. The author could not name it."

The Finding

The Council identified it in the first pass: the protagonist had a wound but no wound circuit. She was suffering. The reader was not.

The book was technically competent and emotionally inert — a fracture invisible from inside the work.

What Changed

The arc was rebuilt before the manuscript was finished.

Six months of rewriting a completed draft were avoided. The book went to submission with the wound circuit intact.

Historical fiction · Relaunched title · Indie published

The Fracture

"The manuscript had already been through two rounds of developmental editing. The craft was fixed. The book still wasn't landing."

The Finding

The Autopsy found what the editors couldn't see: the book was promising one wound and delivering a different one. The reader who needed this book was not the reader the cover was recruiting. Reader Psychology identified the exact person — what they carry, where they live online, what line stops them scrolling.

What Changed

The Wound Line from the Autopsy became the headline of every piece of promotional content. The book was relaunched three months after the diagnostic. It found its readers.

DOCUMENT SUBMISSION PROTOCOL

Your book remains yours.

ARL is not a content mill. It is a diagnostic system built on the belief that every book has a specific reader, and that reader deserves to find it. The work is precise, private, and built entirely from inside your manuscript.

Published Diagnostic Framework

The methodology behind ARL is documented in The Book's X-Ray — available on Amazon. The diagnostic system is not proprietary mysticism. It is a documented, repeatable framework.

Your manuscript stays private

Submitted chapters are used only for your diagnostic and content creation. They are never shared, published, or retained beyond your project.

All content is yours

Every caption, hook, script, and graphic delivered belongs to you. No licensing, no usage restrictions, no hidden terms.

No templates. Ever.

Nothing is generated from a generic framework. Every word is built from inside your specific book — your characters, your reader, your wound.

One book at a time

ARL works with a limited number of authors at once. Your project receives full attention, not a queue number.

Apply for BOOK DIAGNOSTIC
